Secure the Best
of Both Worlds

It’s easy to understand why Auckland is rated as one of the world’s greatest cities for lifestyle.

With its low population density and temperate sub-tropical climate, this is a place where city sophistication is just a stone’s throw from native forests, wild surf beaches and a vast marine park. There are breathtaking views everywhere you look and home can feel like you’re a million miles away from it all, just a few kilometres from the CBD. Life in Auckland really can offer the best of both worlds.

It’s a blend that’s hard to find anywhere in the world, and even in Auckland it’s getting harder to attain. That’s why we created The Reserve, a completely private, sensitively-designed slice of paradise waiting for just 29 visionaries to make it their home. It’s a place that takes all the city has to offer and lifts it to another level. A place that represents the last of the best of Auckland.

Tranquil, secure and benefitting from future-proof technology and infrastructure, The Reserve offers a singular opportunity to create an exceptional New Zealand lifestyle like no other.

The Reserve occupies a north-facing peninsula, its ridges and valleys rolling down to the Long Bay-Okura marine reserve, with views beyond to the Hauraki Gulf.

It’s at the very fringe of Auckland, yet less than half an hour from downtown. Large lots, each around four hectares, free the imagination. This is a place that will inspire you to create a statement; a place to make yours forever.

Sophisticated, secure and a world away from it all

Private, secure and with a truly beautiful setting, The Reserve is designed to give residents the perfect canvas for their imagination. It’s a place where sophistication sits perfectly alongside the simple pleasures of life, in that way New Zealand does so well.

In harmony with nature

With scenic and nature reserves close by, complementing the area’s natural beauty and environment figure highly in The Reserve’s design priorities.

The area’s natural streams benefit from riparian planting of native species, supporting the local ecology and helping overall land management. Exotic specimen trees have also been carefully placed for colour and structure, creating a landscaped environment that’s attractive, environmentally friendly and low maintenance.

Connected like nowhere else

Secluded and surrounded by nature, yet connected to everything Auckland and the wider world have to offer,
The Reserve delivers a lifestyle that’s simply unrepeatable.

Cutting-edge connectivity and smart systems

The Reserve offers world-class amenities and technology. Connected by lightning-fast fibre, reticulated throughout, you can do business with the world from right here while drinking in the Gulf views. In fact a whole suite of industry-leading technology underpins the lifestyle offered by
The Reserve.

Smart street lighting, comprehensive CCTV coverage and gate automation provide the reassurance of privacy and security. Meanwhile, in-home automation opens up plenty of opportunity to make life just that little bit easier.

The Reserve occupies 130 hectares of land north of Long Bay at Okura, at the very top of Auckland’s North Shore. It’s a site with a stunning coastal outlook over the Long Bay-Okura Marine Reserve, alongside the Okura Estuary. Close by lie the bush-clad hills of Okura Scenic Reserve.

Unspoilt and idyllic, this is the last of the best of Auckland. Yet it’s just a 10-minute drive to the State Highway 1 on-ramp at Oteha Valley Road. Also close by is the village centre of Long Bay, with a convenient selection of shops, a supermarket, cafés and facilities.

Access to The Reserve by road is easy. From the south there’s a choice of routes. Exiting the motorway at Oteha Valley Road, then turning left at Northcross onto East Coast Road, leads to Okura River Road on the right. After turning onto Okura River Road, take the second right onto Vaughan’s Road. As the views to the Hauraki Gulf open up on your left, look straight ahead for the entry to The Reserve.

From Silverdale, in the north, it’s an easy ten minute drive south on East Coast Road to Okura River Road on the left.

The lifestyle you promised yourself

Serenity

Some day, you said. Some day you’ll wake up to a view of the sea from your own home. Maybe wander down to the estuary for a spot of kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. A walk through the bush, a run along the beach, ride a mountain-bike trail or take the horse for a canter: having it all on your doorstep lets you fit life’s pleasures in around other demands.

It’s a lifestyle that’s getting harder to find, but it’s what living at The Reserve is all about. With a selection of shops, cafés and facilities right at hand in Long Bay Village, what could possibly tempt you to leave this idyllic place?

Amenity

In a word, Auckland. A city envied for its quality of life. From The Reserve, with its waterfront location and proximity to nature, you can be in downtown Auckland in under half an hour. World-class restaurants, a bustling waterfront, galleries, sophisticated retail and major events: all yours to enjoy, whenever you want.

There’s everything else that makes Auckland such a sought-after place to live too. Tasting fine wines at a local vineyard, the dramatic west coast surf beaches, sailing the Hauraki Gulf, walking through native kauri forest in the Waitakere Ranges. All this and more is just a stone’s throw away.

Life at The Reserve. It truly is the best of both worlds.
